Duo Kuosikulma

Music from the east

Duo Kuosikulma was born in Joensuu in 2003 when Jenni Hanikka started to play music with string instrumentalist Hanna Järvi. The group makes their own compositions in taking influence from the archaic Finnish music and from the music they studied in India, Russia, Mongolia, China and Borneo, drawing topics to the lyrics from today's world. Duo's concert "Itää Pitkin" represents music from their travels in East Asia.
